Thriving With Cancer
CORE El Centro’s Thriving with Cancer nurtures, supports, and informs all those affected by cancer. Thriving with Cancer compassionately augments conventional cancer treatment with affordable, natural, integrative, and wholistic therapies specifically tailored to help those diagnosed with cancer, and those around them, live whole, healthy lives. People who have experienced cancer, surgery, and the effects of chemotherapy or radiation have discovered that natural healing techniques hasten the recovery process, minimize ill effects of treatments and enable them to survive and thrive.
Massage helps to boost the immune system and relax people who have experienced the trauma of cancer.
Acupuncture is very effective in counteracting hair loss and other side effects of chemotherapy. It reduces pain and is a natural alternative to pain medication. Not only does it boost the immune system, it also comforts one’s spirits.
Energy Work offers reiki, healing touch and Brennan Healing Science to enhance the body's natural healing ability.
Holistic exercise classes are specially designed for cancer patients (Adaptive Yoga Therapy & Mindfulness for Cancer & Chronic Illness - view our calendar for the class schedule)
