We are excited to re-open our movement space!

Core El Centro decided to re-open the movement studio for in-person classes with one yoga class on June 18th, 2021. Currently we offer four different holistic exercise classes in person. We will continue to bring classes back in a staggered approach to continue to minimize the risk of infection.

Our people are our most important assets. CORE El Centro’s re-opening plan follows Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) guidelines, federal OSHA standards related to COVID-19, and Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (SPS).

We want to share with you what steps we have implemented in order to do everything we can to keep all who enter our space safe.

Pre-registration now required for all classes and workshops.

Core El Centro requires participants to register at least 24 hours before class to ensure proper safety measures are followed.

All other registrations can be made from the Core website: https://www.core-elcentro.org/complete-calendar-of-classes or by using the MindBody app. A MindBody Log-in is required to register for classes.

If you do not have a MindBody account, you can create a one using the link above and heading to “My Account” on the right-hand side of the calendar. This will open a smaller window asking to sign-in. Scroll to the bottom and click “Create Profile.” You will be prompted to enter your email address and create a password. Please fill-in the required information: name, email, DOB (Date of Birth), contact information and opt into our text and/or email notifications.

You can also call our front desk at (414)384-2673 to register and make payments.

Pre-Screening

Core El Centro will be using only a few general wellness questions to ensure the safety of everyone.

If any of the following apply, visitors will not be allowed to enter our facility:

1.) Symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, aches/pains, flu like symptoms.

2.) You have recently been out of the country.

3.) You have had contact with someone who has recently been diagnosed or exposed to someone with COVID-19.

If any of these questions are answered yes, please do not enter our facility and follow-up with your health practitioner.

Every visitor will be screened:

-Verbally In-person ONLY (We have discontinued the use of Cleartogo questions that were texted and to be filled out ahead of time)

Masks

Anyone entering CORE El Centro’s space is required to wear a mask at all times. We will provide a mask if needed.

Social Distancing

Floor decals have been added to the movement studio to ensure six feet of separation. A max of 12 participants are allowed per class (not including instructor).

Cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation

CORE El Centro will be regularly cleaning and disinfecting the movement studio, equipment, tools, and areas in the work environment, including bathrooms, front desk, offices, the kitchen, and hallways. Frequent cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted in high-touch areas, such as phones, keyboards, touch screens, controls, door handles, elevator panels, railings, copy machines, credit card readers, and any other areas frequently used.

We will have as much fresh air as possible; air recirculation is being limited and ventilation systems (medical grade air filters) are being properly used.

To minimize risk of infection CORE El Centro will:

• Provide tissues, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and a trash receptacle in and around the movement studio and waiting room.

• Provide sanitizer/cleaner for instructors and staff to clean the movement studio, equipment, sound system, microphone, camera, etc.

• Update restrictions for admittance and required procedures and post at the front door, website and social media.

• Post advice regarding illness in the waiting area.

Continuation of virtual class offerings.

We will do our best to provide classes via Zoom for those who are not yet comfortable to return in-person.

Client Responsibilities

All movement participants will need to fill out the Liability and Waiver form before class. They will receive the link to this with their email and text confirmation. If you do not get to it beforehand we also have hard copies available at our front desk.

Please arrive to class at least 10 minutes before for adequate time to follow the Covid-19 protocols (answer detection questions and sanitize hands), pay, sign the liability waiver, settle into your space, go to the bathroom, etc. The 3rd floor door will be open 30 minutes prior to class and will close 10 minutes after class begins.

Lockers are available for your personal belongings. We just ask that you wipe them down with the available disinfectant wipes after use.
