CORE/El Centro- How You Can Help
|

Open Your Heart, Extend Your Hands and Help Us Create a Healthier World One Step at a Time.
Each step in giving begins the process. Please help us with your generous donation to provide quality natural health care for those who cannot afford it. Be assured that 100% of the money you donate goes directly to CORE/El Centro.
Your donations will help to promote health and improve the quality of life for individuals and their communities through the strengthening of their well-being. Items from our wish list at left are much needed and always welcome!!
The organization is budgeted to operate with funding support from grants, client fees, and donations/contributions. Client fees are based on a sliding fee schedule, with fees ranging from $5-$50, dependent upon a client's gross household income and number of dependents.
Given the organization's focus on low-income, underserved clients, CEC anticipates that a large number of those served will be at the low end of the fee schedule, and all donations/contributions are important to continue our service to the community.

TAKE PART IN OUR 'HEALING WITH HEART' PROGRAM
Healing with heart invites people who can afford the full cost of services to join us in a mission of healing and come to CORE/El Centro for their services. Not only will they be receiving quality services and classes but part of their fee will help to subsidize the healing for others who cannot afford full price. Everyone wins. The Healing with Heart client is healthier. Other individuals can experience health, and our community and our world become healthier, more peaceful places.

- A partner in our programming is Walker's Point Community Clinic (WPCC), a free clinic for the uninsured. It is housed on the same floor as CORE/El Centro and 80% of those served are Latino. A majority of the Latino patients are monolingual in Spanish. WPCC is an integral partner with CORE/El Centro. They serve as a referral source and are a part of the planning/implementation for many of our programs.
-
Vieau School's Community Learning Center has been another significant collaborator. They have provided many opportunities for CEC to invite families to participate in CEc's offerings as well as encouraging such participation themselves. They have also offered CEC's movement and self-care classes as a part of the Community Learning Center's offerings.
-
In Health, Inc has begun a relationship with CEC to help educate the community in an integrative fashion about health, natural healing modalities and self-care options.
-
NIA Wisconsin and the national NIA organization have played a major role in the development of our movement program.
-
The Healing Center also is in collaboration with CORE/ElCentro.
Their organization offers sexual abuse, assault survivors and their loved ones opportunities for healing through support, advocacy and community education on the issues of sexual abuse and assault, incest, rape and child sexual abuse.
